Line gaps, zeroes and a matching data table

Original local draft fixture. Synthetic data. No external requests or dependencies.

Focus: none recorded.

Fixture list and exact steps

  1. T27-A — gaps and zero. Activate “Restore missing Wednesday”, choose SVG, then “Check equivalence”. Record six chart/table pairs, missingCount 1, zeroCount 2 and segmentCount 2. Inspect that no line crosses Wednesday’s missing observation.
  2. T27-B — explicit zero. Activate “Set Wednesday to zero”. Record Wednesday 0 in both table and point ledger, segmentCount 1 and zeroCount 3. This changes the synthetic dataset; it is not an imputation rule.
  3. T27-C — canvas comparison. Restore missing Wednesday, choose Canvas, then “Check equivalence”. Record canvas width/height and submitted point/segment arrays. Inspect the canvas against the table. The ledger describes drawing commands, not a pixel-readback or screen-reader result.
  4. T27-D — resizing and focus. Choose SVG and “Narrow to 320 px”. Tab through controls, record focus and inspect visible axis labels. Repeat in Canvas. Record clipping or distortion. “Wide layout” restores the stage.

Shared dataset, two renderers

Equivalence check pending.

Synthetic daily change in crates; evenly spaced days. Fixed vertical scale: −4 to 4.

Dots are observations; a break is an unobserved day. The horizontal zero axis is labelled.

The table is always visible. The chart contains no tooltip, pointer target, animation or selection interaction.
